FA Prevalence Project
The mission of the Friedreich-Ataxia Prevalence Project is simple : find out how many people have been affected by Friedreich Ataxia.
For that we are orientating ourselves to the so-called "Vankan-study"(1), take the lessons learned there and plan to improve to come up with an continous process wich will be allow us to share the most current numbers at any given point in time.
Currently we are working with people from 16 countries/regions helping us obtain the most current and objective data:
